Compatible with Yaesu FT-100, FT-817, FT-857, FT-897, FT-450, FT-950, FT-991, FT-1500, FT-3000, FT-7100, FT-7800, FT-7900, FT-8000, FT-8100, FT-8500, FT-8800, FT-8900, FT-DX1200, FT-DX3000 and variations of these models (transceivers not included) and all other radios with mini din 6 pins input/output data port.

This interface allows your IPhone, IPad, IPod & Android devices (phone or tablet) to decode/encode Digital mode signals using free (or paid) software.

TRRS Jack

Notice: Interface to be compatible with a phone/tablet device, must use a TRRS jack with outputs as shown at the picture. Also, all phone or table headsets to be recognized from the device must have a resistance between Common and Mic Input. The connected resistor to the interface is 1.8K and tested with android/apple phones and tablets. Also can work with windows devices that use same jack.

Interface can recognized from almost any device. To be sure, use an Iphone (4, 5, etc) headset connected to your phone/tablet. If you can talk and listen, then probably you will not have any problem.
For better tune, two potentiometers allows you to adjust in and out audio level.

HOW TO:

• Plug the 6 pin mini din connector to your radio.
• Connect audio jack to the headphone/Mic jack of your phone or tablet.
• Turn on interface (black switch at the left side). A green led opens at the front.
• Tune your radio to a digital mode frequency.
• Lower the transceiver's volume to be sure that phone/tablet does not receive sound from the internal microphone.

• Check if phone volume is full open.
• Use green potentiometer to adjust audio until you have the proper receiving (RX) level.
• Tune your radio to a digimode frequency.
• Use red potentiometer to adjust transmitting (TX) level (check ALC level). When transmits, red led turns on.

Interface is assembled and tested.
Total interface length with cables is ~1.5m. Cable, box or jack color could var.
9V battery not included.
When is in receive mode, consumption is 6mAh and 11mAh when PTT
Dimensions: 6.2x10.5x25mm (2.44x1.13x0.98in)
Notice: Box is custom designed and build with 3D printer. Good quality but not perfect like molded boxes. Please see gallery photos at the top for more detailed view.
